Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools to help raise the attainment of pupils. It is paid to schools according to the number of pupils who have been registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years, or been in care for 6 months or longer.

PUPIL PREMIUM GRANT
Academies must develop a spending proposal for their Pupil Premium funding. This is subject to an impact audit to assess pupil progress. This proposal details how we intend to spend the funding in this academic year, and the outcomes for disadvantaged pupils last academic year.
As a new Academy, opening in September 2024, Prestley Wood Academy will publish its Pupil Premium Funding Strategy, once details of its funding have been announced.
We expect this to take place at the end of the Autumn Term, 2024.
