WEATHER

During winter months, we want your children to be able to access the outdoors during break times.  To help keep them warm, if you have hats, scarves and gloves for your child, please send them into school along with their warm coats.  We know that some children don't like to wear these items, but if you do have them and would like us to try, please send them into school, and we will offer them support and encouragement to wear them - it's not always possible, but sometimes we manage to succeed.

During the summer, we want your children to be able to access the outdoors during break times.  To help make them more comfortable, if you have sun hats and sunglasses please send them into school.  Again, we will try and support your child to wear these items.  We have shaded areas across all playgrounds so that children can sit in the shade if preferred.  On occasions when it is too hot, we may decide it is safer to keep the children indoors for breaks.

Please see our Sun Cream Guidance Policy.
